1. Controller

Cemal Eker, Berlin, Germany — full postal address in the Impressum. E-Mail: .

2. Hosting (Cloudflare Pages)

This site is served as static files by Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). When you visit it, Cloudflare's servers technically process connection data such as your IP address, the requested URL, and browser metadata in server logs to deliver the site and defend it against abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest in providing a secure, performant website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details on their processing.

3. Contact form

If you use the contact form, the data you enter — name, email address, the topic you select, and your message — is sent to me by email so I can respond to your inquiry. Delivery is handled by Resend (Resend, Inc., USA), an email delivery service acting as a processor: your form data passes through Resend's systems to reach my inbox. [Before launch: verify Resend's GDPR safeguards for the EU→US transfer (DPA / SCCs or Data Privacy Framework) and reference them here.]

I keep inquiry emails for as long as needed to handle the inquiry and any follow-up, then delete them; statutory retention obligations remain unaffected. Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and my legitimate interest in answering inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Using the form is optional — you can always email me directly instead.

4. Cloudflare Web Analytics

This site may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first measurement tool: it sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, does not fingerprint devices, and does no cross-site tracking. It is only active when an analytics token is configured for the deployment. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding aggregate site usage (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). To exercise any of these, email me at the address above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for Berlin, the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (datenschutz-berlin.de).
